How to Craft Ladder in Minecraft

Bring 7 Sticks to a Crafting Table and you have Ladders. From the top down: two Sticks down either side; then three Sticks; then two Sticks down either side. You end up with 3 Ladders each time. Burn it instead and one gives 300 ticks, which means 43 Ladders take a stack of 64 all the way through a furnace.

Ladder Item ID and Give Command

The item ID for Ladder is minecraft:ladder. In commands the namespace may be left off, so ladder works too. Checked against Minecraft Java 26.2.

Give yourself one: /give @p ladder
Give a full stack of 64: /give @p ladder 64
Give it to a named player: /give Steve ladder 1

Cheats have to be on for Ladder to appear this way, and the same command works on Bedrock Edition, where the name is written the same.
